High Strength
The compressive strength of 10 mm Sintra PVC foam board can reach 15-18 MPa, and the bending strength can reach 30-35 MPa, which is much higher than ordinary foam plastics (such as polystyrene foam, the compressive strength is only 0.1-0.3 MPa). This high strength enables it to withstand a uniform load of 200-250 kg/m².
Good Thermal Insulation
The thermal conductivity of 10 mm Sintra PVC foam board is 0.065-0.07 W/(m·K), which is significantly lower than solid PVC board (0.15-0.2 W/(m·K)) and ordinary glass (1.0 W/(m·K)). In practical applications, using this material as a building exterior wall can reduce indoor temperature by 3-5°C and reduce air conditioning energy consumption by 15-20%.
Good Waterproofness
The water absorption rate of 10mm Sintra PVC foam board is only 0.5-0.7% (24-hour immersion test), which is much lower than wood (30-200%) and ordinary plastic (1-5%).
