Is Expanded PVC Foam Sheet Different from PVC Foam Board?

In most purchasing, printing and sign-material markets, expanded PVC foam sheet and PVC foam board refer to the same type of rigid, lightweight foamed PVC material. The wording changes, but the basic product does not.

"Sheet" is often used by plastic-sheet distributors, while "board" is common among furniture, construction and panel buyers. The name "expanded PVC sheet" is especially familiar in North America and is also used by some European suppliers. In the UK, buyers may say "foamed PVC sheet," while many European sign makers know the material as Forex.

Different Names, Same Material

Expanded PVC foam sheet = Expanded PVC sheet = PVC foam sheet = PVC foam board. When requesting a quotation, thickness, density, size and application are more important than the regional product name.

Production and Shipment

Stage	Order Handling
Before Production	Specification, quantity, packing and marking are confirmed with the buyer.
Lead Time	Regular orders are generally prepared in about 7–10 days after order confirmation. Custom colors, sizes or special packing may require additional time.
Loading	The loading plan is arranged according to sheet size, pallet type and container space.
Shipment Update	Packing or loading photos and shipping documents can be provided for order follow-up.
