15mm PVC Foam Board is a medium-thickness PVC sheet for projects that need better stiffness than thin advertising boards, but do not need the heavier feeling of 18mm board. 15mm thickness is not as thin as common advertising sheets and not as heavy as thicker cabinet boards. It is suitable when the customer needs a board with better stiffness, but still wants easy cutting and lower weight.

For cabinet projects, 15mm PVC Foam Board can be used for inner partitions, side panels, back panels with stronger support, light shelves and furniture parts. For decoration projects, it can be used for wall panels, partition boards, shop decoration and CNC cut panels.

If the project requires main cabinet doors, heavy shelves or stronger screw holding, 18mm board may be more suitable. If the project only needs lightweight printed signs or temporary display panels, 3mm–6mm PVC foam board is usually more economical.

For 15mm board, density should not be selected only by price. Lower density is lighter and more economical, but higher density gives better processing stability and screw holding. Before bulk order, customers can confirm density according to panel size, fixing method and final use.

 

15mm PVC foam board can be cut, drilled, routed and engraved with common woodworking or CNC equipment. For cleaner edges, the board should be fixed well during cutting to reduce vibration.

For screw fixing, holes should not be too close to the board edge. This is especially important for shelves, cabinet parts and panels that need repeated installation or long-term use.

For laminating or decorative surface work, the board surface should be clean and dry before processing. If the customer needs a special surface effect, sample testing is recommended before mass production.
