Our 5mm PVC foam board for digital printing is made for sign makers, printing companies and advertising material distributors. 1. A Practical 5mm Board for Sign and Print Work

For advertising work, buyers usually need a board that is light enough to handle but rigid enough to stay flat during printing, cutting and installation. A 5mm sheet provides more body than thin 2mm or 3mm material and is a practical choice for medium-size signs and displays.

Application note: For long-term outdoor signs, please tell us the sign size, UV exposure, wind load and fixing method. Waterproof does not automatically mean that every specification is suitable for prolonged outdoor use.

2. Product Specifications

Need a different printing result? Tell us your printer type, ink, finished sign size and installation method. We can recommend a suitable density and provide a sample for testing before the order.

3. Choose Density by the Finished Sign

Density affects sheet weight, rigidity, cutting feel and price. A lower-density sheet can reduce purchasing cost for short-term indoor displays. A higher-density sheet feels firmer and is usually preferred when the board will be routed, handled repeatedly or installed in a larger size.

Weights are calculated from nominal size and density. Actual net and gross weights are confirmed from the production and packing plan.

4. What We Check Before Packing

A printable board needs more than a white colour. Uneven thickness, surface marks and poor packing can cause waste at the printing workshop. Our production and inspection teams check the points that matter during later processing:

• Sheet thickness and density according to the confirmed order.
• Surface smoothness, cleanliness and colour consistency.
• Board flatness and straight sheet edges.
• Sheet dimensions and batch identification.
• Protective packing and pallet stability before loading.

The material is waterproof and can be cut, drilled, engraved or routed with standard fabrication equipment. It is also self-extinguishing within five seconds under our regular internal test conditions. If your project requires a specific test standard, please tell us before ordering.

5. Packing and Container Orders for Nigeria

For shipments to Lagos and other Nigerian ports, full-container purchasing normally provides better freight cost per sheet and better protection than loose cargo. Standard options include PE bag packing, carton packing and export pallets with optional corner protectors.

The final loading quantity depends on thickness, density, pallet design and the container weight limit. Send us your required quantities for 4mm and 5mm sheets, and we will prepare a loading plan showing estimated sheets, net weight, gross weight and cubic metres before you confirm the order.
